Lightning Protector Model AL-F is a gas discharge tube suppressor featuring wide-band operation up to 2.5 GHz. This weatherproof unit features integral F-Male to F-Female connectors.
Due to its low cost this unit is an economical choice for wireless LAN applications at 2.4 GHz and 900 MHz as well as applications in the following areas: CATV, DSS, MMDS, Cellular and PCS. Since this protector will pass DC it is suitable for applications where DC is carried through the coax cable such as remote amplifiers and LNAs.
The unit's gas tube element provides multi-strike capability and fast response time. The unit can be easily grounded using an industry standard "F"-type grounding block.
